Mark works as a scientist at ISCFDC, primarily responsible for research and development of multi-physics CFD codes, and advanced numerical methods. Prior to joining ISCFDC, he conducted applied CFD research in the Israeli Air Force (IAF), where he gained extensive experience in flight sciences and specifically aircraft aerodynamics.
Using his experience in applied CFD, Mark also provides engineering consultation to various industry- and government-based customers. His most recent project involved CFD-based aerodynamic analysis of major modifications to a cargo aircraft, to assist in reducing flight-testing costs.
Mark received his B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D in aerospace engineering from the Technion IIT. His Ph.D dissertation focused on multigrid acceleration of turbulent combusting flows.
