Version 2.6 (build 2025-2-g0834bb1a) of the unstructured flow solver Arion is available for download.
Major features/changes/fixes in this release:
- New turbulent SST variant Scale-Adaptive Simulation (SAS)
- Chemical non-equilibrium module
- Integrated Cantera library for chemical equilibrium / non-equilibrium simulations (thermodynamics, transport, and reaction rate calculations)
- Axisymmetric simulations
- Ability to set a reference pressure for force calculations
- Use Runge–Kutta as a time-accurate method
- Initialize an inner domain with different values than the freestream
- CGNS version 4.5 output
