Version 2.5 (build 2024-542-gfb0dd178) of the unstructured flow solver Arion is available for download.
Major features/changes/fixes in this release:
- Equilibrium system (similar to the capabilities available in the EZAir Suite of Codes), including compatible EOS and tables
- Line search which can improve convergence
- Faster parallel CRC (incompatible with older version checksum). The CRC allows partitioning files to be reused. Using older version checksum can be done using "-crc.version #arion-version" where version < 2.41 will trigger older version
- Bug fixes and MPI-related improvements
