This EPPIC tutorial covers cell classification and orphan points. Cells of a grid can be of several types, including Boundary condition cells (e.g. wall, O-Mesh, E-Mesh) and live cells. Cells that are not live should either be perscribed a boundary conditions or look for interpolation from an overlapping grid. If a non-live cell cannot find data through interpolation and is not assigned a boundary condition it becomes an orphan point and raises an error.
